The University School of Law and Legal Studies (USLLS) is a constituent school of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), New Delhi. The School is known for its legal education, research, and community engagement initiatives, including legal aid, awareness programmes, and outreach activities aimed at promoting access to justice.
About the Internship
The Legal Outreach Internship Programme is designed to provide students with practical exposure to community legal awareness and field-based legal outreach. Selected interns will participate in legal awareness programmes, conduct field surveys, and engage with local communities across various districts of Delhi while working under the supervision of the University.
Duration
The internship will be conducted for 15 days, from 15 July 2026 to 31 July 2026, during which selected interns will participate in scheduled outreach and field activities.
Mode
This is an offline (on-site) internship requiring selected candidates to participate in field visits, outreach programmes, and related activities conducted by the University.
Location
The internship will be conducted at the University School of Law and Legal Studies, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Sector 16C, Dwarka, New Delhi, with outreach activities across various districts of Delhi.
Number of Positions
A total of 40 internship positions are available under the Legal Outreach Internship Programme for eligible law students and research scholars.
Stipend
This is an unpaid internship. Selected interns will receive practical exposure through community legal outreach and field engagement but will not receive any monetary remuneration.

Eligibility Criteria
- Students enrolled in a 3-year LL.B. programme.
- Students enrolled in a 5-year integrated LL.B. programme.
- LL.M. students.
- Ph.D. scholars in Law.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Preference will be given to candidates from Delhi-NCR.
Roles & Responsibilities
Legal Outreach
- Participate in legal awareness programmes across various districts of Delhi.
- Engage with local communities and target groups.
Field Research
- Conduct field surveys on legal issues and access to justice.
- Collect and document relevant field information.
Documentation
- Maintain daily records of outreach activities.
- Prepare reports on field visits and programme outcomes.
