About Project 39A, National Law University Delhi
Project 39A is a research and litigation initiative of National Law University Delhi (NLU Delhi) dedicated to strengthening India’s criminal justice system through empirical research and pro bono litigation. The initiative works on issues relating to the death penalty, legal aid, torture, forensic science, and mental health within the criminal justice system.
About the Internship
Project 39A is inviting applications for its internship programme, providing students with practical exposure to research and litigation on significant criminal justice and human rights issues. Interns will work closely with the Project 39A team on policy research, legal analysis, case preparation, and litigation support.

This internship is based at Project 39A, National Law University Delhi, Sector 14, Dwarka, New Delhi.
Type of Internship
- Full-time (Preferred)
- Part-time applications may also be considered.
Duration
- Full-time: 4 to 12 weeks
- Part-time: Minimum 12 weeks
