The Pilania Law Associates Legal Internship is designed for law students seeking practical training in litigation and dispute resolution. Interns will work closely with advocates and legal professionals on active matters involving criminal, civil, commercial, consumer, and family law.

Through the Pilania Law Associates Legal Internship, selected candidates will gain experience in legal research, drafting, case preparation, court procedures, and filing work, providing valuable insight into day-to-day litigation practice.

The internship will be conducted during June 2026.

This is a physical internship.

Location

The internship is based in Delhi.

Number of Positions

Three (3) internship positions are available.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Students in the 4th and 5th year of a five-year integrated LL.B. programme may apply.
  • Students in the 2nd and 3rd year of a three-year LL.B. programme are eligible to apply.
  • Candidates should possess strong legal research and drafting skills.
  • Applicants interested in litigation and court practice are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills will be an advantage.

Roles & Responsibilities

Legal Research

  • Conduct legal research on issues arising in ongoing matters.
  • Analyse statutes, precedents, and legal developments relevant to assigned cases.

Drafting & Documentation

  • Assist in drafting legal notices, applications, pleadings, and legal submissions.
  • Support the preparation and management of case-related documents.

Litigation Support

  • Assist advocates in criminal, civil, commercial, consumer, and family law matters.
  • Support case preparation and litigation strategy.

Court & Filing Work

  • Observe court proceedings and assist with procedural requirements.
  • Support filing-related work and case management activities.

Areas of Exposure

Criminal Law

  • Criminal litigation and procedural law.
  • Case preparation and research support.

Civil & Commercial Litigation

  • Civil disputes and commercial litigation matters.
  • Drafting and legal analysis.

Consumer & Family Law

  • Consumer protection matters.
  • Family law disputes and proceedings.
