5 Min Read

T&R Law Offices is inviting applications for a long-term paid legal internship within its Corporate and Commercial practice commencing from June 1, 2026. The internship offers selected candidates an opportunity to work on live corporate, intellectual property, regulatory, and digital media mandates within a professional law firm environment.

About the Organisation

T&R Law Offices is a Delhi-based law firm engaged in corporate, commercial, intellectual property, regulatory, and transactional legal practice. The firm advises startups, founders, investors, digital creators, and businesses on a wide range of legal and regulatory matters involving mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property rights, venture capital structures, commercial agreements, and compliance frameworks.

The firm also works on advisory mandates involving creator economy businesses, digital media content, SEBI-regulated structures, and strategic commercial transactions.

About the Internship

The internship programme is designed as a long-term engagement intended to provide substantive practical exposure to transactional and advisory legal work. Selected interns will work directly on live matters across the firm’s Corporate and Commercial practice and will assist the legal team on ongoing mandates involving startup transactions, intellectual property, regulatory compliance, and commercial advisory work.

Interns will gain exposure to mergers and acquisitions work involving startup transactions, structuring exercises, legal due diligence, and drafting of transaction documents such as Shareholders’ Agreements (SHA), Share Subscription Agreements (SSA), and related transactional instruments.

The internship also includes exposure to intellectual property advisory and enforcement work involving trademarks, copyrights, design filings, and contentious prosecution matters. Interns may additionally assist with regulatory advisory mandates involving SEBI-regulated entities, venture capital funds, alternative investment funds (AIFs), and merchant banking licensing matters.

A distinctive feature of the internship is the opportunity to work on creator and digital media advisory assignments. The firm advises prominent digital creators and YouTubers on content-related legal issues including pre-script legal diligence, intellectual property protection, and risk assessment relating to digital content.

Interns will also assist with contract drafting, corporate advisory work, transactional support, and day-to-day commercial legal matters. The role is intended to provide genuine transactional exposure rather than purely administrative or procedural tasks.

The internship has been structured for a six-month duration and may lead to a Trainee role for candidates demonstrating strong performance during the internship period.

Eligibility Criteria

The opportunity is specifically open to students in the fourth year of a five-year integrated law programme and students in the second year of a three-year LL.B. programme.

Candidates should be capable of committing to a long-term engagement beginning from June 2026.
