About the Internship
The Legal Internship at JioSaavn is designed to provide law students with practical exposure to legal and regulatory work associated with the digital entertainment and technology industry. Selected interns will work closely with the Legal and Business Affairs team on matters relating to media law, intellectual property, privacy compliance, contracts, and operational legal support.
Interns will conduct legal research on issues relating to technology law, intermediary liability, intellectual property rights, media regulations, and data privacy frameworks. The internship also includes drafting-related work involving agreements, memorandums of understanding (MOUs), non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), and related contractual documentation.
Participants will assist the legal team in maintaining contract repositories, trackers, and documentation connected with ongoing legal matters. The role further includes support relating to compliance monitoring under the Information Technology Act, Intermediary Guidelines, and associated regulatory frameworks affecting digital businesses.
Interns may also assist with litigation support, internal escalations, preparation of legal notes, internal advisories, summaries, and coordination with internal stakeholders. The internship provides an opportunity to understand practical legal workflows within a technology-driven entertainment company operating in a dynamic regulatory environment.
Eligibility Criteria
