The two-year fellowship is designed for outstanding postgraduate candidates interested in careers in academia, legal research, and public policy.

About the Fellowship
The Academic Fellows Programme is a full-time academic training and mentorship initiative aimed at developing the next generation of legal scholars, researchers, educators, and policy professionals.
Fellows will work closely with faculty members across teaching, research, publications, academic administration, conferences, policy projects, and institutional initiatives while developing their own academic and professional trajectory.

This is a full-time, in-person fellowship based at the JGLS Campus, Sonipat, Haryana.
Remote or part-time engagement is not permitted.
Key Responsibilities
Academic Support
- Assist faculty members in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching
- Support curriculum development and course administration
- Prepare teaching materials, presentations, reading lists, and assignments
- Assist with tutorials, discussions, and student engagement activities
Research & Publications
- Conduct doctrinal and interdisciplinary legal research
- Assist faculty on publications, policy projects, and research initiatives
- Support editing, cite-checking, and manuscript preparation
- Contribute to policy briefs, conference reports, and academic events
Institutional Engagement
- Support conferences, workshops, seminars, and executive education programmes
- Participate in interdisciplinary academic initiatives
- Contribute to outreach and academic networking activities
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should possess:
- An outstanding academic record
- LL.M. degree or an equivalent postgraduate qualification
- Strong research, writing, analytical, and communication skills
- Demonstrated interest in academia, research, and public policy
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic academic environment
Preferred Candidates
The programme is particularly suitable for:
- Recent graduates in law and allied disciplines
- Candidates pursuing or completing postgraduate studies
- Early-career professionals seeking careers in academia and policy research
- Researchers interested in interdisciplinary scholarship
Prior experience in research assistance, publications, mooting, teaching assistance, editorial work, or policy engagement will be an added advantage.
