About CASIHR Journal on Human Rights Practice RGNUL Patiala
The CASIHR Journal on Human Rights Practice (JHRP) is a peer-reviewed academic publication of the Centre for Advanced Studies in Human Rights at Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Patiala. The journal is published as a bi-annual initiative aimed at contributing to scholarship in the field of human rights law and interdisciplinary research concerning contemporary legal developments.
The journal focuses on advancing research across multiple dimensions of human rights discourse, including governance structures, international cooperation, sustainable development frameworks, environmental concerns, and the relationship between democracy and the rule of law. It also encourages scholarship addressing human rights concerns in contexts of peace and conflict, globalisation processes, and regulatory developments affecting national and international legal systems.
Through its publication platform, the journal seeks contributions that examine legal and policy issues connected with emerging challenges in human rights protection across local, regional, and international frameworks.
