The Centre for Criminal Law and Criminology (CCLC), Faculty of Law, University of Delhi, is inviting original and well-researched blog submissions on contemporary issues in criminal law, criminology, and allied fields. Submissions are accepted on a rolling basis through a double-blind peer review process.

About the Organiser

The Centre for Criminal Law and Criminology (CCLC) is an academic and research centre under the Integrated Law Course, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi. The Centre promotes interdisciplinary research, legal scholarship, policy engagement, and evidence-based reforms in criminal law and criminology.

About the Call for Blogs

CCLC invites original, unpublished, and analytical blog posts focusing on criminal law, criminology, and allied fields. The blog aims to encourage meaningful legal discourse through contributions from scholars, practitioners, and students.

  • Practitioners
  • Academicians

Co-authorship of up to two authors is permitted.

Submission Guidelines

  • Rolling submissions.
  • Word Limit: 1,000–1,500 words.
  • Manuscript must be submitted in MS Word (.doc/.docx) format.
  • Font: Times New Roman, Size 12.
  • Line Spacing: 1.5.
  • Footnotes: Times New Roman, Size 10, Single spacing.
  • References should primarily be provided through hyperlinks; where footnotes are used, they must follow the Bluebook (21st Edition).
  • Similarity should not exceed 15%.
  • The manuscript must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere.
  • The manuscript should not contain any identifying information to ensure double-blind peer review. Author details must be provided in a separate cover letter.

Review Process

All submissions will undergo a double-blind peer review, first by the Student Editorial Board and thereafter by the Faculty Editorial Board.

Application Procedure

Interested contributors may submit their manuscript in MS Word (.doc/.docx) format by emailing it to cclc@ilc.du.ac.in with the subject line “ILC-CCLC Blog Submission”, along with a separate cover letter containing author details and the required declaration.
