About Asian Law College
Asian Law College (ALC), Noida, is a legal education institution affiliated with Chaudhary Charan Singh University (CCSU), approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI), and accredited by NAAC.
The College offers B.A. LL.B. (5-year), B.Com. LL.B. (5-year), and LL.B. (3-year) programmes, with an emphasis on experiential legal education through moot courts, legal aid initiatives, AIBE workshops, and international academic collaborations, including its academic association with the University of Cape Town (UCT), South Africa.
About the Opportunity
The ALC International Moot Court Competition 2026 is a platform for law students from law schools and universities in India and abroad to participate in legal research, memorial drafting, oral advocacy, and discussions on contemporary legal issues.
The moot proposition for this edition is based on International Humanitarian Law, focusing on complex questions concerning the application and interpretation of international law in situations of armed conflict.
Competition Details
- The competition will be held on September 26–27, 2026.
- The competition will follow a hybrid format, with national participants competing offline and international participants participating online.
- The offline venue is Asian Law College, Plot A2, Block C, Sector 125, Noida, Uttar Pradesh – 201303.
- The last date for registration is September 10, 2026.
- Registration is subject to limited slots, with allotment on a first-come, first-served basis.
Awards & Recognition
The competition offers the following prizes:
- Winner: ₹50,000
- Runner-Up: ₹30,000
- Best Memorial: ₹10,000
- Best Speaker (Male): ₹10,000
- Best Speaker (Female): ₹10,000
- Best Researcher: ₹10,000
The winning team will also receive three one-year complimentary subscriptions to SCC Online Web Edition, collectively valued at ₹1,00,500.
All participants will receive one-month complimentary access to SCC Online Web Edition, valued at ₹3,100 per participant. Participants will also attend a mandatory one-hour online SCC Online training session.
Registration & Accommodation
- ₹3,000 per team without accommodation.
- ₹6,000 per team with accommodation for national teams.
- An NOC from the respective institution is mandatory.
- Cross-institutional teams are not permitted.
- All team members must represent the same institution.
