About the Job Opportunity
The firm is looking for an Associate to work on litigation, corporate law, commercial transactions, and intellectual property matters.
Eligibility and Experience
Candidates should have:
- An LL.B. degree from a recognised university.
- 0–1 year of relevant experience in litigation, corporate law, commercial law, or intellectual property rights.
- Strong legal research, drafting, and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of relevant Indian laws, regulations, and legal procedures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive approach, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
Roles and Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be expected to handle the following work:
Litigation
- Draft legal notices, pleadings, petitions, replies, applications, and other legal documents.
- Conduct legal research and prepare case briefs, opinions, and summaries.
- Assist with civil, commercial, and other litigation matters.
- Coordinate with clients, advocates, and courts on case-related activities.
- Monitor court dates, filing deadlines, and case progress.
- Assist in preparing matters for hearings and maintaining case records.
Corporate and Commercial Law
- Assist with company incorporation, restructuring, and corporate compliance matters.
- Draft and review board resolutions, minutes, agreements, and other corporate documents.
- Support ROC filings and statutory compliance requirements.
- Conduct research on the Companies Act, 2013, and other relevant corporate laws.
- Assist with due diligence, corporate documentation, and regulatory compliance.
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements and contracts, including service agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and vendor agreements.
- Review contractual terms, identify potential legal risks, and assist with contract management and documentation.
- Conduct research on commercial disputes and contractual obligations.
Intellectual Property Rights
- Assist with trademark, copyright, and other intellectual property registration matters.
- Conduct trademark searches and assist in preparing and filing applications.
- Draft responses to examination reports, oppositions, objections, and other IP-related documents.
- Assist with intellectual property enforcement, infringement matters, and related litigation.
- Track application statuses, deadlines, renewals, and other IP-related requirements.
- Conduct research on applicable intellectual property laws.
Job Location
The position is based in Noida, Uttar Pradesh.
