About the Opportunity
Kanalysis is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Associate with experience in US litigation and Indian commercial laws. The selected candidate will assist the firm’s US office with litigation-related work while also handling corporate and commercial legal matters in India.
The role involves legal research, drafting, contract review, due diligence, corporate advisory, and regulatory compliance across a broad range of commercial transactions.
Location
The position is based in Sultanpur, Delhi, India.
Eligibility Criteria
- LL.B. degree with enrolment with the Bar Council.
- One to three years of post-qualification experience (PQE).
- Strong drafting, contract review, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage multiple matters independently.
Roles & Responsibilities
US Litigation Support
- Assist the US office with legal research and drafting in real estate and intellectual property litigation.
Drafting & Commercial Agreements
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including Shareholder Agreements, Joint Venture Agreements, Licence Agreements, Merger Agreements, and intellectual property-related contracts.
Corporate Advisory
- Advise clients on corporate and commercial matters, foreign exchange regulations, compliance, and investment transactions.
Due Diligence & Compliance
- Conduct legal due diligence.
- Prepare legal opinions.
- Provide strategic legal support on Corporate Laws, Contract Laws, FDI Policy, Competition Law, Privacy Laws, and related regulations.
