The position focuses on implementing data privacy requirements, developing compliance roadmaps, conducting privacy assessments and establishing governance processes. The selected professional will coordinate with cross-functional teams and manage privacy risks, documentation, audits and compliance initiatives.

The opening is for a DPDP Implementation Lead / Privacy Consultant.
Experience Required
Candidates should have 4–6 years of overall experience, including a minimum of four years in data privacy or privacy consulting.
Roles and Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Leading end-to-end DPDP implementation, project planning and compliance roadmaps.
- Conducting privacy gap assessments and driving remediation initiatives.
- Managing data mapping, Data Flow Diagrams (DFDs), Records of Processing Activities (RoPA) and Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs).
- Developing privacy policies and processes for consent management, grievance handling and data breaches.
- Collaborating with IT, Information Security, Legal, HR, Procurement, Marketing and business teams.
- Managing third-party privacy assessments, vendor Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) and privacy risks.
- Conducting privacy awareness programmes, training and audits, and preparing management reports.
- Establishing sustainable privacy governance frameworks and audit-ready documentation.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should possess the following qualifications and experience:
- Strong working knowledge of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and applicable DPDP Rules.
- Hands-on experience in privacy consulting and end-to-end compliance implementation.
- Expertise in RoPA, DFDs, DPIAs, consent management and third-party privacy risk management.
- Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Certifications
Certifications such as CIPP/A, CIPM, CDPSE or DSCI privacy certifications are preferred.

Additional Knowledge
Knowledge of ISO 27701, ISO 27001 and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) will be an added advantage.
