About the Role
PrivacyPillar is inviting applications for the role of Data Privacy & Technical Implementation Consultant. The position focuses on data privacy compliance, DPDPA implementation, privacy governance, and technical implementation aspects, particularly within the fintech and payments ecosystem.
Experience Required
Candidates with 1–2 years of relevant experience may apply, provided they possess strong practical understanding of privacy implementation and compliance workflows.
Location
This is an in-office opportunity based in Mumbai, suitable for professionals interested in privacy law, compliance, and implementation-oriented work.
Key Skills Required
Applicants should preferably have:
- Strong understanding of DPDPA and privacy compliance lifecycle
- Knowledge of consent management, privacy notices, breach handling, vendor governance, ROPA, and data principal rights
- Familiarity with privacy/security guardrails, privacy tech, automation, dashboards, and workflows
- Ability to support technical DPDPA readiness discussions and collaborate with compliance, business, security, and technology teams
- Exposure to fintech or payments ecosystem preferred
Preferred Profile
The organisation is looking for candidates with:
- Combination of privacy law and technical implementation understanding
- Ability to support DPDPA implementation within fintech environments
- Practical and solution-oriented understanding of privacy compliance systems
