Roles and Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be expected to:

• Handle civil and commercial litigation before various forums.
• Manage litigation matters from inception to completion, including briefing senior counsel.
• Draft high-quality legal documents and pleadings.
• Work on complex matters involving leading clients.
• Apply knowledge of civil and commercial laws in litigation proceedings.
• Handle matters before the Bombay High Court, National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) and District Courts, as applicable.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants should meet the following requirements:

• 3–4 years of post-qualification experience.
• Law graduates from the 2022 or 2023 batches.
• Prior experience in Mumbai courts is mandatory.
• Strong academic background and understanding of Indian civil and commercial laws.
• Knowledge of the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908, the Indian Contract Act, 1872, the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016, and other relevant laws.
• Experience handling litigation matters and briefing senior counsel.
• Proficiency in drafting legal documents and pleadings.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
