About the Opportunity
The Political Intelligence Intern will track political developments across Tamil Nadu, analyse emerging issues, and prepare structured reports to support research and campaign planning. The role involves coordinating with the Political Intelligence team and field associates, organising political information, and providing research inputs to communications teams and digital content creators.

Eligibility Criteria
- Students pursuing Political Science, Public Policy, Economics, Journalism, Law, Social Sciences, or related disciplines.
- Recent graduates and early-career professionals with a demonstrated interest in political research and intelligence.
- Candidates with strong research, analytical thinking, and political writing skills.
- Applicants who can independently track developments, verify information, and prepare structured reports.
- Candidates comfortable using Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets for data management and tracking.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking Tamil, alongside English, is strongly preferred but not mandatory. Candidates from all linguistic backgrounds may apply.
Roles & Responsibilities
Political Research and Monitoring
- Track political developments, emerging narratives, party activities, and key issues across Tamil Nadu.
- Identify emerging political issues, public concerns, and developments requiring immediate attention.
- Research political developments and provide inputs for campaign planning and execution.
Intelligence Reporting and Analysis
- Prepare political intelligence briefs, escalation notes, and updates on important developments.
- Draft political intelligence notes and research inputs for communications teams, YouTubers, and influencers.
- Verify information and present findings in a structured format.
Team Coordination
- Participate in daily coordination calls with the Political Intelligence team and field associates.
- Coordinate research inputs and updates to support ongoing assignments.
Data Management and Tracking
- Collect, organise, and analyse political information using Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and structured trackers.
- Maintain organised records to support research and monitoring activities.
