Xavier Law School, St. Xavier’s University Kolkata, and the Indian Society of Criminology invite paper submissions for an international conference on emerging technologies in criminal justice, scheduled for 14–15 January 2027.

About the Conference

Xavier Law School, St. Xavier’s University Kolkata, in collaboration with the Indian Society of Criminology (ISC), is organising a two-day international conference titled “Emerging Technologies in the Criminal Justice Administration: Challenges and Opportunities.”

The conference aims to encourage academic discussion on how emerging technologies are transforming criminal investigations, forensic science, judicial administration and digital governance, while examining the opportunities and challenges arising from these developments.

Contributions are invited on topics including artificial intelligence in criminal investigations, cyber and financial crimes, forensic innovations, emerging technologies in courts and judicial administration, data governance, privacy and human rights, smart prisons, access to justice and other allied areas.
