About the Organisers
The Department of Law, Delhi Global Institute of Management (DGIM), Faridabad, is organising DGIM Law Fiesta 2026, a three-day inter-college law and academic festival from October 8 to 10, 2026. Delhi Global Institute of Management is affiliated with M.D. University, Rohtak, and its Department of Law offers undergraduate and postgraduate law programmes.
Delhi Global Institute of Management was founded in 2005 and is located in Sector 96, Jasana, Greater Faridabad, Haryana. The festival provides an academic, competitive and creative platform for participants to develop and showcase their legal knowledge, advocacy, counselling, debating, mediation, analytical and cultural skills.
About the Festival
DGIM Law Fiesta 2026 will comprise legal competitions, academic activities, an online national workshop and cultural events across three days.
October 8, 2026: Legal and Academic Events
The events scheduled for October 8 include the National Client Counselling Competition, Legal Quiz Competition on the Constitution of India and Debate Competition on “Right to Protest: From Gandhi to CJP”. The client counselling competition will focus on client interviewing, legal analysis, counselling and professional communication.
October 9, 2026: Legal and Academic Events
The events scheduled for October 9 include the National Mediation Competition and the Online National Workshop on Artificial Intelligence and Law, titled “Navigating Artificial Intelligence & Law”. The mediation competition is intended to develop negotiation, communication and dispute-resolution skills, while the workshop will explore contemporary legal issues arising from artificial intelligence.
October 10, 2026: Cultural and Entertainment Events
The events scheduled for October 10 include an Inter-College Dance Competition, Fashion Show, Live Music Band and Grand Closing Ceremony.
Eligibility
- The National Mediation Competition, National Client Counselling Competition and Legal Quiz Competition are open to students pursuing three-year or five-year LL.B. programmes from recognised universities, law colleges or institutions, subject to the respective event rules.
- The Debate Competition is open to all participants, irrespective of whether they are law students or belong to another academic discipline.
- The Online National Workshop on Artificial Intelligence and Law is open to interested students, academicians, scholars and researchers.
- The Cultural Competitions are open to eligible participants as specified in the respective event guidelines.
Mode and Location
The on-campus competitions and cultural events will be conducted offline at Delhi Global Institute of Management, Faridabad, Haryana, India. The National Workshop on Artificial Intelligence and Law will be conducted online.
Registration Fees
- National Mediation Competition: Rs. 300 per team.
- National Client Counselling Competition: Rs. 300 per team.
- Legal Quiz Competition: Rs. 400 per team.
- Debate Competition: Rs. 400 per team.
- Online National Workshop on Artificial Intelligence and Law: Rs. 99 per participant.
- Cultural Competitions: Rs. 200 per participant. For group dance, the group must have a minimum of five and a maximum of eight members, with a fee of Rs. 200 per member.
Participants must complete the applicable payment through the designated registration and payment process. Event-specific rules, team composition, dress code, competition format and other requirements are governed by the official rulebook.
Prizes and Certificates
- National Client Counselling Competition: Winner – Rs. 2,500, trophy and certificate; Runner-up – Rs. 1,500 and certificate.
- Legal Quiz Competition: Winner – Rs. 2,500, trophy and certificate; Runner-up – Rs. 1,500 and certificate.
- Debate Competition: Winner – Rs. 2,500, trophy and certificate; Runner-up – Rs. 1,500 and certificate.
- National Mediation Competition: Winner – Rs. 2,500, trophy and certificate; Runner-up – Rs. 1,500 and certificate.
- Online Workshop on Artificial Intelligence and Law: participation certificate.
- Inter-College Dance Competition: Solo Dance Winner – Rs. 2,000, trophy and certificate; Group Dance Winner – Rs. 5,000, trophy and certificate.
- Fashion Show: Winner – Rs. 21,000, trophy and certificate; Runner-up – Rs. 5,000 and certificate.
