Aditya Birla Group’s Pulp & Fibre Business operates globally across fibres, pulp, sustainability and manufacturing operations in India, Indonesia, Thailand, China, Sweden and Canada. The legal team also supports global sales, marketing, media, projects and procurement.
About the Opportunity
The Aditya Birla Group legal team is seeking a Legal Intern to assist with corporate, commercial, regulatory and other legal matters. The internship will provide exposure to legal work involving both Indian and international jurisdictions.
Location
The internship is based in Worli, Mumbai, and requires the intern to work on-site.
Stipend
The stipend will be provided as per company policy.
Eligibility Criteria
- Students pursuing an LL.B. through a 3-year or 5-year course from a recognized institution are eligible to apply.
- Candidates should have strong legal research, drafting and analytical skills.
- Candidates should have an interest in corporate, commercial and regulatory legal work.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills are required.
Roles & Responsibilities
Contract Drafting & Review
- Assist the legal team in reviewing and drafting commercial contracts and agreements.
Compliance & Corporate Governance
- Assist with compliance, regulatory and corporate governance matters.
Legal Research & Strategic Projects
- Contribute to strategic projects, corporate transactions and legal research.
Litigation Support
- Support litigation management and documentation processes.
International Legal Matters
- Assist with legal matters across Indian and international jurisdictions.
