About the Opportunity
Aishani Partners is inviting applications for Commercial Law and Intellectual Property (IP) Law internship positions. The internship is designed to provide practical exposure to legal research, drafting, document review, and advisory work. Depending on the selected practice area, interns will work on commercial transactions, technology and data privacy matters, intellectual property prosecution, dispute-related research, and other legal assignments.
Mode
This is a remote internship. Selected interns will work virtually with the firm’s team and undertake assignments through online collaboration while adhering to the timelines communicated by the firm.
Eligibility Criteria
- Students in the 4th or 5th year of a five-year integrated LL.B. programme.
- Students in the 3rd year of a three-year LL.B. programme.
- Applications from students in earlier years will not be considered.
Roles & Responsibilities
Legal Research
- Conduct legal and case law research.
- Assist in analysing legal issues across assigned practice areas.
Drafting & Documentation
- Assist in drafting legal documents, agreements, and research notes.
- Review documents, compare contractual clauses, and prepare legal summaries.
Commercial Law
- Assist in matters relating to commercial transactions, technology, media, data privacy, and business advisory.
Intellectual Property
- Assist in trademark, copyright, design, and other intellectual property matters.
- Support prosecution work, dispute-related research, portfolio management, and record review.
