Tantia University is organising the 2nd Dr. S.S. Tantia Moot Court Competition on October 24–25, 2026, with prizes worth over β‚Ή52,000.

About Tantia University

The Faculty of Law, Tantia University, Sri Ganganagar, was established in 2015 and offers B.A. LL.B., LL.B., LL.M., Ph.D. (Law), and a Postgraduate Diploma in Cyber Law. The Faculty focuses on developing competent and thoughtful legal professionals.

About the Competition

The 2nd Dr. S.S. Tantia Moot Court Competition, 2026, is being organised to promote advocacy skills among law students across India. The moot proposition will focus on Criminal Law and Constitutional Law, providing participating teams with an opportunity to demonstrate legal knowledge, research and critical thinking.

Competition Dates and Venue

The competition will be held on October 24 and 25, 2026.

The competition venue is the Moot Court Hall, Tantia University, Sri Ganganagar, Rajasthan.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Students enrolled in a Five-Year Integrated Law Programme are eligible to participate.
  • Students enrolled in a Three-Year LL.B. Programme are eligible to participate.

Awards and Rewards

The Winner Team will receive a cash prize of β‚Ή31,000, a trophy, three one-year complimentary SCC Online Web Edition subscriptions stated to be worth β‚Ή72,000 in total, along with additional perks.

The Runner-Up Team will receive a cash prize of β‚Ή11,000, a trophy, a certificate and additional perks.

The Best Mooter will receive a cash prize of β‚Ή5,000, a trophy and a certificate.

The Best Researcher will receive a cash prize of β‚Ή5,000, a trophy and a certificate.

The Best Memorial will receive a cash prize of β‚Ή5,000, a trophy and a certificate.

All participants will receive certificates of participation.

Registration Details

The registration fee is β‚Ή4,500 for participants opting for accommodation and β‚Ή1,500 for participants without accommodation.

Registration commenced on August 14, 2026.

The last date for registration is September 15, 2026.

The last date for memorial submission is October 7, 2026.
