Submission Guidelines
Submissions must be written in English and should be lucid, contemporary, well-researched and contain novel analysis. The Editorial Board encourages analytical submissions supported by concrete suggestions rather than descriptive pieces containing generic recommendations.
The submission must contain between 1,300 and 1,600 words, excluding endnotes. Longer pieces may be divided into two or three parts, provided that each part is complete in itself. The authorβs name and institution must not appear in the body of the manuscript.
Submissions must be formatted in Times New Roman, font size 12, with 1.5 line spacing and justified alignment.
Formatting and Citations
Hyperlinks should be used within the body of the manuscript instead of footnotes and endnotes wherever possible. Endnotes may be used where hyperlinks are unavailable or where the source is behind a paywall or available offline.
The latest edition of the Oxford University Standard for Citation of Legal Authorities (OSCOLA) must be followed. Endnotes should be in Times New Roman, font size 10, with single-line spacing and justified alignment.
Originality and Plagiarism
Submissions must be original, unpublished and the result of the authorβs own efforts. Plagiarism is strictly prohibited, and manuscripts with a high AI similarity level may be rejected.
Authors must not submit the manuscript elsewhere while it is under review. Upon selection for publication, copyright in the manuscript will be assigned to RFMLR, while moral rights will remain with the authors.
