About the Internship
The Assessment Internship Program serves as the exclusive entry pathway for fresh graduates seeking to join Poovayya & Co. The programme is designed to identify and nurture promising legal talent through a structured internship experience that provides exposure to professional legal work and mentorship from experienced practitioners.
Selected interns will have the opportunity to work on research, drafting, transactional, advisory, and dispute-related assignments while gaining insight into the functioning of a leading law firm.
Duration
The internship period runs from October 2026 to March 2027.
Internships may be undertaken for a duration of one to three months and can be split across semester breaks.

The internship is available at:
- Bengaluru
- New Delhi
Stipend
All Assessment Interns will receive a stipend.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must satisfy all of the following requirements:
- Must be in the final year of an LL.B. or LL.M. programme.
- Must rank within the top 25% of their class.
- Must have at least two publications.
- Must have participated in at least two national or international moot court competitions.
Selection Process
- Applications will be accepted only through nominations from law schools.
- Recruitment and Career Committees (RCCs) and Placement Cells must submit nominations directly.
- Individual applications will not be considered.
