About the Internship
The Chambers of Senior Advocate Gurpreet Singh is inviting applications from law students for internship positions on a rolling basis for the months of June, July, August, and September 2026.
The internship is designed to provide practical learning opportunities in High Court litigation, legal drafting, court procedures, and case preparation while working closely with ongoing matters before the Punjab and Haryana High Court.

Eligibility Criteria
Applications are invited from:
- Students pursuing a 3-Year LL.B. programme
- Students pursuing a 5-Year Integrated LL.B. programme
- Students from recognised universities
Preference will be given to candidates who possess:
- Strong interest in litigation and court practice
- Good legal research and drafting skills
- Prior internship experience
- Willingness to learn and contribute to chamber work
Roles & Responsibilities
Selected interns may be required to:
Legal Research
- Conduct legal research on assigned matters
- Analyse case laws, statutes, and legal issues
- Prepare research notes and legal summaries
Drafting Work
- Assist in drafting pleadings, applications, and legal briefs
- Support preparation of legal documents for ongoing matters
Court & Litigation Exposure
- Attend proceedings before the Punjab and Haryana High Court
- Observe litigation strategy and courtroom practice
- Assist in case preparation and chamber-related work

Stipend
There is no fixed stipend for the internship.
However, a token stipend or honorarium may be provided based on the intern’s performance, contribution, and duration of engagement at the discretion of the chamber.
