About the Opportunity
Sirmacs Consultancy Services is inviting applications for the role of Associate Trainee / Assessment Intern for final-year law students and fresh law graduates. The role offers structured exposure to legal research, drafting, litigation support, and advisory work, with a possibility of conversion into a full-time Associate role based on performance.
Roles & Responsibilities
Selected candidates may gain exposure to:
- Legal research on GST, Customs, Foreign Trade laws, statutes, rules, notifications, circulars, and case laws
- Drafting replies to notices, appeals, writ petitions, legal opinions, and written submissions
- Assisting in litigation before adjudicating authorities, tribunals, and appellate forums
- Supporting compliance, advisory, documentation, and matter management work
- Tracking legal deadlines, hearings, and case developments
- Exposure to expanding practice areas including Intellectual Property Law and Civil Law
Candidates should also be comfortable with legal research and drafting using platforms such as Manupatra and SCC Online.
Remuneration
- ₹10,000 per month during the assessment period
- ₹20,000 – ₹30,000 per month (CTC) upon conversion to Associate
Assessment Period
The assessment period will be for 6 months.
Eligibility
Applications are invited from:
- Final-year students pursuing a 3-year or 5-year LL.B. course recognised by the Bar Council of India
- Fresh law graduates with up to 1 year of experience
- Candidates intending to enrol or already enrolled as Advocates with the respective State Bar Council
- Candidates awaiting the result of the last AIBE may also apply
Location
This is an in-office opportunity based in Rajendra Place, New Delhi. Remote or work-from-home arrangements are not available.
