Vintage Legal is a legal academic and research-driven platform that focuses on open-access legal publications and research support. It works with universities, law chambers, and law firms to create a collaborative environment where students and researchers can access curated legal resources and engage in practical legal research.
The platform publishes research articles, case analyses, and academic materials across multiple areas of law, while also expanding into emerging legal domains, and aims to promote academic excellence, research skills, and professional development among law students.
About the Internship
The Virtual Internship at Vintage Legal is a one-month, training-cum-internship programme that combines structured learning with hands-on legal research assignments. Participants receive guidance on research methodology, citation practices, formatting standards, and academic writing techniques before completing assigned tasks.
The internship is conducted entirely online, and interns participate in virtual meetings, weekly review sessions, and training workshops throughout the programme, including one free research and writing workshop. Interns are required to meet weekly deadlines and attend the virtual review sessions for feedback and guidance.
Roles & Responsibilities
Participants receive task-based assignments after the orientation and training sessions. Interns may be required to:
- Conduct legal research related to intellectual property laws
- Prepare legal briefs on assigned topics
- Write research articles or book chapters
- Work on case analyses and case summaries
- Draft legal commentaries and academic content
The tasks are structured to help students improve their research and analytical writing skills.

- Students pursuing 5-year integrated LL.B. programmes

Law students from all academic years are eligible to apply. Applicants should demonstrate interest in legal research, academic writing, and intellectual property law.
Stipend
This internship is unpaid and is focused primarily on academic training and skill development.
