About the Opportunity
Tsaaro is looking for a Legal Intern to work closely with its finance and accounts teams on day-to-day financial operations, reporting and compliance activities. The role will also involve contract review and drafting, legal research, documentation and tracking.
The internship is intended for candidates seeking hands-on industry exposure and direct experience working with an in-house legal team.

The internship will be for six months.

Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must be in their final semester or be recent graduates.
- Candidates must be willing to work from the office for the full internship duration.

Roles & Responsibilities
Contract Review & Drafting
- Review and assist with drafting NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, DPAs and vendor agreements.
- Identify risks and assist with redlining.
- Assist with basic contract drafting.
Legal Research
- Research and interpret applicable laws, regulations and case law.
Compliance
- Support compliance activities and related tracking.
- Assist with identifying key obligations and commercial terms.
Documentation & Tracking
- Maintain contract trackers.
- Track contract renewals and expiry dates.
- Maintain compliance and obligation trackers.
- Work with MS Word, Track Changes and comments.
- Identify inconsistencies and missing clauses or definitions.
Communication
- Draft professional legal and business emails.
- Explain legal concepts in simple language.
