About the NIMCC
The 2nd TNNLU National Insolvency Moot Court Competition 2026 builds upon the success of its inaugural edition, which witnessed participation from 26 universities across India. Encouraged by the enthusiastic response, TNNLU now presents the second edition with a sharper focus on insolvency jurisprudence.
The competition centres on Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process (CIRP) and explores nuanced legal issues involving:
- Interplay between banking laws and insolvency regulations
- Role of regulatory authorities in insolvency proceedings
- Emerging challenges of cross-border insolvency
- Contemporary interpretation of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code
The moot problem is designed to test participants’ understanding of insolvency law, regulatory frameworks, procedural strategy, and commercial reasoning.
