NUJS Law Review is the flagship student-edited law journal of the National University of Juridical Sciences (NUJS), Kolkata. The journal is recognized for publishing scholarly and interdisciplinary legal research on contemporary legal issues and has established itself as an important platform for legal academics, practitioners, researchers, and students.

About the Call for Papers

To mark a decade of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016, NUJS Law Review is inviting scholarly submissions exploring the evolution, implementation, challenges, reforms, and future trajectory of India’s insolvency framework.

The theme encourages critical engagement with the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016, including its impact on insolvency resolution, creditor rights, corporate restructuring, and broader economic governance.

Articles

  • 6,000–30,000 words

Commentaries

  • 5,000–20,000 words

Notes / Essays

  • 4,000–6,000 words

Submission Guidelines

  • An abstract not exceeding 300 words must accompany the manuscript.
  • The manuscript, including citations and footnotes, must conform to the 2nd NUJS Law Review Citation and Style Sheet.
  • Submissions must be original and unpublished work of the author(s).
  • Manuscripts should fall within one of the prescribed submission categories.
