Eligibility Criteria

• Students enrolled in the 2nd year of the 3-year LL.B. programme.
• Students enrolled in the 3rd year of the 5-year LL.B. programme.
• Strong interest in litigation and advocacy.
• Good legal research and drafting skills.
• Ability to work in a team and maintain professionalism.

Roles & Responsibilities

Selected interns will be actively involved in the following tasks:

• Drafting preliminary drafts, petitions, and notices.
• Filing and following up with the court registry.
• Handling departmental work and procedural compliance.
• Assisting in case preparation and legal research across commercial litigation, civil disputes, arbitration and dispute-resolution practice.

Courts Exposure

Interns will gain practical exposure to proceedings before:

• High Court.
• NCLT (National Company Law Tribunal).
• Sessions Court.
• Metropolitan Magistrate Courts (including 138 matters).
• City Civil Courts.

Duration

• Minimum duration: 3 months or more.
• The internship is paid for candidates completing 3 months or more.

Location

The V K Law Chambers internship is a physical internship based in Mumbai.

Interns are required to work from the chambers and may also attend courts as part of their internship.
