About the Opportunity
The selected candidate will support business and internal teams with drafting, reviewing and negotiating agreements. The position also involves assessing lending products and customer documentation, advising on regulatory requirements and supporting new business initiatives.
Eligibility Criteria
- LL.B. or LL.M. from a recognised college or university.
- Relevant law firm or in-house experience in the work areas described for the position.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Draft, vet and negotiate loan agreements, non-disclosure agreements, memoranda of understanding, engagement letters, service-level agreements, and lease or leave and licence agreements.
- Review lending products, loan journeys and customer-facing documentation.
- Review and negotiate co-lending partnerships and associated documents.
- Advise on commercial, vendor, customer, strategic partnership, outsourcing and technology agreements.
- Support legal review and documentation for new product launches and business initiatives.
- Provide legal and regulatory advice to business and support functions.
- Monitor changes in applicable laws, regulations and industry developments, and support their implementation.
- Advise on RBI regulations and applicable guidelines.
- Develop and update legal templates, processes and policies.
