About the Opportunity
AKS Partners is inviting applications for the position of Senior Associate from candidates with 4–5 years of post-qualification experience (PQE). The ideal candidate should have experience handling commercial litigation and arbitration matters.
Candidates should possess strong drafting and research skills, attention to detail and the ability to take ownership of matters. Experience in construction arbitration is preferred, although it is not mandatory.
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates should have 4–5 years of post-qualification experience.
- Candidates should have experience in commercial litigation and arbitration matters.
- Candidates should possess strong drafting and research skills.
- Candidates should have strong attention to detail.
- Candidates should be capable of taking ownership of matters.
- Candidates with a background in construction arbitration will be preferred.
Roles & Responsibilities
Commercial Litigation
The selected candidate will work on commercial litigation matters and contribute to the handling of challenging legal matters.
Arbitration
The role will involve working on arbitration matters. Experience in construction arbitration will be an added advantage.
Legal Research
The candidate should have strong legal research skills and contribute to research required for the firm’s matters.
Drafting
The candidate will be expected to demonstrate strong drafting skills as part of their work on litigation and arbitration matters.
Matter Management
The candidate should be capable of taking ownership of matters and handling assigned responsibilities with attention to detail.
