About Centre for Competition Law and Economics (CCLE)

The Centre for Competition Law and Economics (CCLE) is a law and policy think tank focused on competition law, technology policy, international trade, regulatory affairs, and governance. The Centre engages with government departments, regulatory authorities, corporations, and civil society organisations on a range of complex legal, economic, and policy issues.

Through its research and policy initiatives, CCLE contributes to contemporary debates surrounding market regulation, digital governance, competition policy, and public policy development.

About the Internship

CCLE is seeking Research Interns for June 2026 to support its ongoing legal and policy projects. The internship offers an opportunity to work on cutting-edge issues at the intersection of law, economics, technology, and governance.

Selected interns will contribute to research projects, policy analysis, publications, and outreach initiatives while gaining exposure to interactions with regulators, policymakers, government officials, and subject-matter experts.

Duration

The internship will be for one month during June 2026.

Mode

This is a hybrid internship.

Number of Positions

Two (2) positions are available.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates in the final year of their academic programme are encouraged to apply.
  • Early-stage candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
  • Applicants should possess strong legal research and analytical skills.
  • Excellent writing and communication abilities will be an advantage.
  • Candidates with an interest in competition law, technology policy, and regulatory affairs are encouraged to apply.

Roles & Responsibilities

Legal & Policy Research

  • Conduct research on developments in competition law, technology policy, and regulatory affairs.
  • Analyse legal frameworks, policy developments, and regulatory trends.
  • Assist in preparing research papers, briefing notes, and policy outputs.

Publications & Knowledge Development

  • Contribute articles, commentaries, and analytical pieces for publication.
  • Support the preparation of reports and research-based publications.

Regulatory Monitoring

  • Track developments across regulatory agencies, government departments, and policy institutions.
  • Monitor legislative and regulatory changes relevant to ongoing projects.

Outreach & Project Support

  • Assist in social media and public engagement initiatives.
  • Support ongoing legal, economic, and public policy projects undertaken by the Centre.
