Through various research, outreach, and capacity-building programmes, HNLU seeks to bridge the gap between legal education and practical justice delivery.

About the Fellowship

Under its Justice Connect: HNLU Lawyers Fellowship Programme (विधि सारथी), HNLU is inviting applications for project-based contractual positions aimed at strengthening legal aid and justice delivery mechanisms.

The programme offers opportunities for advocates and legal professionals to work on litigation support, programme implementation, documentation, and coordination functions while contributing to access-to-justice initiatives.

  • Litigation Fellow – 10 Positions
  • Coordinator (Fellowship) – 1 Position
  • Documentation Officer – 1 Position
  • Program Manager – 1 Position

Eligibility Criteria

Litigation Fellow

  • Applicants must be advocates actively practising in:
    • Raipur
    • Durg
    • Bilaspur
    • Rajnandgaon
    • Balodabazar

Coordinator (Fellowship)

  • Candidates must satisfy the qualifications and requirements prescribed in the detailed notification.

Documentation Officer

  • Candidates must satisfy the qualifications and requirements prescribed in the detailed notification.

Program Manager

  • Candidates must satisfy the qualifications and requirements prescribed in the detailed notification.

Roles & Responsibilities

Litigation Support

  • Provide legal assistance and litigation-related support under the Fellowship Programme.
  • Coordinate with beneficiaries, legal professionals, and institutional stakeholders.
  • Assist in case management and legal representation activities.

Programme Coordination

  • Facilitate implementation of fellowship activities and project objectives.
  • Monitor programme progress and stakeholder engagement.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain records, reports, and project documentation.
  • Assist in preparing impact assessments and programme-related materials.

Programme Management

  • Oversee operational aspects of the fellowship programme.
  • Support strategic planning, implementation, and administration of project activities.
