Bala Law Offices is headed by Advocate Tagore Bala, who serves as an Empanelled Advocate for the Airports Authority of India and as Standing Counsel for the Central Board of Indirect Taxes & Customs. The office has developed a strong practice in real estate law and litigation, advising clients on transactional, regulatory, and dispute-resolution matters.

The firm regularly handles legal issues relating to property transactions, due diligence, advisory work, and litigation, providing interns with an opportunity to gain practical insight into the functioning of a specialised legal practice.

About the Internship

Bala Law Offices is inviting applications from eligible law students for an offline internship programme at its Hyderabad office. The internship is designed for students seeking practical exposure to real estate law and related legal work.

Selected interns will work closely with the legal team on due diligence exercises, legal research assignments, and drafting tasks, enabling them to develop a strong understanding of legal practice in the real estate sector.

Duration

The internship will be for a period of one to two months.

Mode

This is an offline internship based in Hyderabad.

Location

The internship will be conducted at the firm’s office in Hyderabad.

Number of Positions

Four internship positions are available.

Stipend / Salary

A performance-based stipend will be provided.

Eligibility Criteria

  • 4th and 5th-year students enrolled in a 5-year integrated LL.B. programme.
  • 2nd and 3rd-year students enrolled in a 3-year LL.B. programme.
  • Ability to read and understand Telugu.
  • Interest in real estate law and legal research.

Roles & Responsibilities

Real Estate Due Diligence

  • Assist in reviewing property-related documents and records.
  • Support due diligence exercises for real estate transactions.

Legal Research

  • Conduct research on legal issues, statutes, regulations, and judicial precedents.
  • Prepare research notes and summaries for ongoing matters.

Drafting & Documentation

  • Assist in drafting legal documents, notices, and other legal communications.
  • Support the team in reviewing and organising legal documentation.
