3rd National Moot Court Competition on Consumer Protection Laws at NUSRL Ranchi: Register by October 25!

NUSRL Ranchi has opened registrations for the 3rd National Moot Court Competition on Consumer Protection Laws, 2026, to be held from 27–29 November.

About NUSRL Ranchi

The National University of Study and Research in Law (NUSRL), Ranchi, is a prestigious institution established by the Jharkhand Government through the NUSRL Act of 2010. Dedicated to the advancement of legal education, it has quickly ascended as a centre for academic excellence and research.

About the Competition

The Chair on Consumer Research and Policy (CCRP), NUSRL Ranchi, invites law students across India to participate in the 3rd National Moot Court Competition on Consumer Protection Laws, 2026, to be held from 27–29 November 2026 at NUSRL, Ranchi. The competition is organised under the aegis of the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Government of India, and offers a national platform for students to engage with contemporary issues in consumer protection law and showcase their skills in research, drafting and oral advocacy.

Prize Pool

The competition offers a prize pool of ₹1,00,000. The Winning Team will also be felicitated by the Hon’ble Minister of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution on National Consumer Rights Day, 24 December 2026.

Location and Mode

The competition will be held in offline mode at NUSRL Ranchi. The university is located at the NUSRL Campus, Khelgaon-Tatisilwai Road, Brambe, Ranchi, Jharkhand.

Eligibility Criteria

The competition invites law students from across India to take part and engage with contemporary issues in consumer protection law.
