About the Opportunity
The Legal Executive will work on commercial contracts, regulatory compliance, intellectual property and legal documentation. The role offers exposure to in-house legal practice within a fast-paced technology business.
Position Details
- Position: Legal Executive
- Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra
- Experience: 1–3 years
- Industry Preference: SaaS, technology, IT, TMT or general corporate practice
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
- Hold an LL.B. degree and have relevant Bar Council enrolment.
- Have 1–3 years of professional experience, preferably in SaaS, technology, IT, TMT or general corporate practice.
- Possess strong legal drafting, research and communication skills.
- Demonstrate good organisational skills.
- Have prior in-house legal experience; this will be an added advantage.
Roles and Responsibilities
Contract Drafting and Review
- Draft, review and manage contracts, non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) and other commercial agreements.
- Support the legal documentation process across business functions.
Data Protection and Compliance
- Assist with compliance matters involving the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) framework and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Intellectual Property
- Handle legal matters relating to intellectual property rights and trademarks.
Legal Research and Litigation Support
- Conduct legal research and assist with litigation-related work.
Legal Operations and Business Support
- Respond to legal queries from different business teams.
- Maintain legal trackers, documentation and repositories.
