About the Opportunity

Greenpeace India is inviting applications for a Legal Intern to support research, documentation and evidence-building concerning extreme heat, community testimonies and potential climate litigation.

The selected intern will work with people maintaining Heat Registries in Delhi and examine how lived experiences and community records can contribute to potential legal action. The role is particularly relevant to candidates interested in climate and environmental law, human rights and public interest litigation.

Duration

The internship will be for a period of two months.

The internship will be conducted in offline mode.

Location

The internship will be based in Delhi.

Stipend

The intern will receive a stipend of ₹10,000 per month.

The intern will work with people maintaining Heat Registries in Delhi and examine how community records and lived experiences can be used in building a legal case.

Climate Litigation Support

The intern will contribute to research and evidence-building relevant to potential climate litigation and public interest legal action.
