The Centre for Research and Planning (CRP), Supreme Court of India, invites applications for its prestigious legal internship programme on a rolling basis throughout the year. This internship offers law students a unique opportunity to work on high-level legal research and policy projects within the Supreme Court of India.
About the Organisation
The Centre for Research and Planning is the dedicated research wing of the Supreme Court of India. It undertakes research and analytical work to support judicial administration, legal reform, and institutional planning.
About the Internship
Selected interns work closely with the Centre on legal research and analytical assignments involving constitutional law, judicial developments, and policy issues. The programme provides direct exposure to the functioning of India’s apex court and is highly regarded among students interested in litigation, judicial clerkships, academia, and public policy.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Be enrolled in a law degree programme recognised by the Bar Council of India
- Be in the 4th or 5th year of a 5-year law programme, or the 3rd year of a 3-year LL.B. programme
- Be below 28 years of age
Duration
Minimum 4 weeks.
Mode
Physical / In-Office.
Location
Centre for Research and Planning, Supreme Court of India, New Delhi.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday: 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Saturday: 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Stipend
No remuneration is provided.
