About the Opportunity
The Senior Legal Associate will handle commercial contracts, corporate and investment documentation, and real estate transactions. The position offers direct interaction with founders and clients and responsibility for independently managing legal assignments.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should have:
- 2–5 years of post-qualification experience.
- Substantial hands-on experience in contract drafting, review and negotiation.
- Experience in transactional advisory.
- The ability to take ownership of matters and deliver quality work with minimal supervision.
- The ability to work directly with clients.
Candidates with less than two years of PQE should not apply.
Roles and Responsibilities
The role covers three principal areas:
- Commercial contracts: Draft, review and negotiate Master Services Agreements, SaaS and technology agreements, vendor and service agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements, employment agreements, franchise agreements and distribution agreements.
- Corporate and investment transactions: Handle documentation relating to startups, private equity, venture capital, joint ventures, shareholders’ agreements, share subscription agreements and related transactions.
- Real estate transactions: Draft and review lease deeds, sale agreements, conveyancing documents and other transaction documents.
