About the Opportunity
The corporate law internship at Kamal & Co. Advocates offers practical exposure to corporate legal work. Interns will work closely with experienced lawyers, develop drafting and research skills, and understand how legal advice is applied to real business situations.
Location
The internship in Mumbai will be based at the firm’s office.
Duration
The internship will be for a duration of 4–8 weeks.
Mode
The internship will be conducted in in-office mode.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Corporate and commercial legal research.
- Drafting and reviewing commercial agreements.
- Company law and regulatory compliance work.
- Legal due diligence.
- Corporate documentation.
- Contract review and analysis.
- Research on the Companies Act, FEMA, IBC and other applicable laws.
- Assistance in corporate advisory matters.
- Preparing legal notes, case summaries and client-related documentation.
Eligibility Criteria
- Students pursuing LL.B., B.A. LL.B., B.B.A. LL.B. or LL.M.
- Strong interest in corporate and commercial law.
- Good legal research and drafting skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Proactive, detail-oriented and willing to learn.
- Prior corporate law internship experience will be an advantage, but is not mandatory.
