The Legal Research, Analysis & Writing Internship 2026 is a structured online internship programme intended to provide practical exposure to core legal skills. Interns will work on tasks involving real-life law mapping, case law research, briefing exercises, and legal scenario analysis. A significant feature of the internship is the inclusion of live guided sessions aimed at helping interns understand legal tasks step-by-step. The programme includes one introductory session, four task-based training sessions, and one concluding session. These sessions are intended to bridge the gap between academic legal education and practical application.
The internship also includes a Legal Research Quiz Session intended to test and strengthen research and analytical abilities. Selected interns may additionally receive opportunities for publication of blogs and articles on the IZEL Legal platform, subject to applicable terms and conditions.
Participants will receive mentorship and personalised feedback on assignments and writing submissions throughout the programme. Exceptional performers may also be recognised through the “Intern of the Month” initiative.
Eligibility Criteria
The internship is open to law students currently in the first or second year of their law programme. Applicants interested in legal research, writing, and analytical work are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
Interns will be expected to undertake assignments relating to legal research, case law briefing, legal writing, and legal scenario analysis. Participants may also be required to prepare legal blogs, conduct structured legal analysis exercises, and participate in guided training sessions and quiz activities as part of the internship workflow.
