The Office of Dr. K. Sudhakar, Hon’ble Member of Parliament from Chikkaballapur, Karnataka, invites motivated students interested in public policy, governance, legislative research and political communication.

The internship offers practical exposure to parliamentary affairs, constituency development, public policy research and the functioning of a Member of Parliament’s office.

• Location: MP Flats, New Delhi
• Work Mode: On-site/Hybrid
• Duration: Until 30 December 2026, with the possibility of extension based on performance

Eligibility Criteria

Students pursuing or having a background in the following disciplines may apply:

• Political Science
• Public Policy
• Law
• Mass Media and Communication
• Journalism
• International Relations
• Public Administration
• Related disciplines

Candidates should possess strong research, analytical and writing skills, along with good communication skills and an interest in governance and public affairs.

Familiarity with government policies, parliamentary affairs or current affairs will be an added advantage. Applicants should demonstrate a willingness to learn, attention to detail and a proactive approach.

• Assist with research on public policy, governance and legislative matters.
• Support the preparation of briefs, reports and policy notes.
• Research parliamentary proceedings, government schemes and relevant policy developments.
• Assist with constituency-related research and development initiatives.
• Support drafting, documentation and communication activities as required.
