The International Journal of Legal Science and Innovation invites papers for Volume 8, 2026, with no submission fee and Crossref DOI for published papers.

The International Journal of Legal Science and Innovation (IJLSI) is a double-blind peer-reviewed, refereed, open-access law journal published by VidhiAagaz. The journal has been in publication since 2019 and carries ISSN (O): 2581-9453.

IJLSI has an Impact Factor of 6.285 for 2024 and is indexed in Manupatra, Google Scholar, and ROAD. The journal accepts submissions across the field of law and publishes papers on an open-access basis.

About the Opportunity

IJLSI invites paper submissions for Volume 8 covering all issues for the year 2026. There is no thematic restriction, and submissions are accepted across different areas of legal research.

Every paper published in Volume 8 will be assigned a Crossref DOI at no additional cost. The journal also provides an e-Certificate of Publication for each author and a permanent, freely accessible link to the published paper.

There is no specific thematic restriction for submissions.

The journal welcomes submissions covering areas including:

  • Constitutional law
  • Criminal law
  • Corporate and commercial law
  • Intellectual property
  • International law
  • Human rights
  • Technology and data protection
  • Environmental law
  • Family law
  • Dispute resolution

Interdisciplinary, comparative, and empirical research connecting law with policy, economics, or social sciences is also welcome.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Submissions are open to authors working in the field of law and related interdisciplinary areas.
  • Co-authorship is permitted for a maximum of four authors.
  • Submissions must be original and unpublished.
  • Manuscripts must not be under consideration elsewhere.

Submission Guidelines

The journal accepts the following categories of submissions:

  • Research Paper: 3,000 to 7,000 words.
  • Article: 1,500 to 3,000 words.
  • Case Comment: 1,000 to 2,000 words.
  • Short Note: 1,000 to 2,000 words.
  • Book Review: 1,500 to 2,000 words.

The prescribed word limits are exclusive of footnotes.

The main text should be in Times New Roman, 12-point font with 1.5 line spacing. Footnotes should be in Times New Roman, 10-point font with 1.0 line spacing.

Citations must follow the Bluebook 21st Edition format.

Manuscripts must be submitted in .doc or .docx format and should include the title, abstract, keywords, introduction, body, conclusion, and references.

All submissions will be screened for plagiarism through Drillbit or iThenticate.

Manuscript Processing Charges

There is no submission fee. Manuscript processing charges are payable only after acceptance.

For one to two authors, the charge is INR 1,000 for Indian authors and USD 25 for international authors.

For three authors, the charge is INR 1,250 for Indian authors and USD 40 for international authors.

For four authors, the charge is INR 1,500 for Indian authors and USD 50 for international authors.

What Authors Receive

Authors whose papers are published will receive publication in a peer-reviewed, refereed, ISSN-registered and indexed journal.

Every published paper will receive a Crossref DOI at no additional charge.

Each author will receive an e-Certificate of Publication.

Authors will also receive a permanent, freely accessible link to their published paper.

Printed certificates and journal booklets are available separately for authors who wish to order them.

Important Dates

The submission deadline is August 26, 2026.

Submissions for Volume 8 are accepted on a continuing basis across all issues.

The initial screening outcome is communicated within one working day of submission.

Publication is stated to take place within seven days of completion of pre-publication formalities.

Application Procedure

Interested authors may submit their manuscripts online through the journal’s submission portal.

Authors will receive a Manuscript ID immediately after submission. The manuscript can subsequently be tracked through the journal’s manuscript tracking page during screening, peer review, acceptance, and publication.
