Centre for Public Policy and Good Governance (CPPGG), Dr. B.R. Ambedkar National Law University, Sonepat is organising an International Conference on โ€œRule of Law at a Transformative Crossroads: Rethinking Public Law, Governance, and Accountability.โ€

The conference seeks to examine contemporary transformations in governance and their implications for transparency, due process, accountability, institutional legitimacy and the limits of public power.

About the Opportunity

The conference provides an opportunity for undergraduate and postgraduate students, research scholars, academicians, legal practitioners, professionals, policymakers and other individuals interested in relevant areas of law and policy to present their research.

The conference will explore how the Rule of Law can respond to emerging forms of power involving digital technologies, algorithms, delegated authorities, private platforms and institutions operating beyond traditional territorial boundaries.

Paper presenters may participate either offline or online. Submissions will undergo blind peer review, and selected papers may be published in the Conference Proceedings, subject to additional publication charges.

Submission Details

Authors are required to submit an abstract of 250โ€“300 words and a full paper of 3,000โ€“5,000 words, excluding footnotes.

Submissions may follow either Bluebook 21st Edition or APA citation style. Submissions will undergo blind peer review.

The permissible similarity index is up to 10%, with a zero-tolerance policy on plagiarism.

Roles & Responsibilities

Research and Paper Presentation

Selected participants are expected to submit research papers addressing the conference themes. Paper presenters may participate either offline or online.

Academic Contribution

Participants will contribute to interdisciplinary discussions concerning public law, governance, accountability, constitutionalism, technology and contemporary legal challenges.

Registration Fees

  • International Delegates: USD 50 per author.
  • Practitioners, Academicians and External Faculty: โ‚น1,500 per author.
  • Students: โ‚น750 per author.
  • DBRANLU Students and Faculty: โ‚น500 per author.

Payment is to be made only after acceptance of the abstract.

Important Dates

The last date for abstract submission is September 10, 2026.

Notification of acceptance will be issued on September 13, 2026.

The last date for registration, payment and final paper submission is September 15, 2026.

The conference will be held on September 23, 2026.
