Hidayatullah National Law University (HNLU), Raipur has invited applications for admission against vacant seats in the B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) and LL.M. programmes for the academic session 2026–27. Candidates who appeared in CLAT 2026 and belong to the respective categories can apply online through Google Form before the deadline.
About HNLU Vacant Seats Admission 2026
After the completion of the CLAT Consortium admission process on 30 May 2026, HNLU announced admissions against vacant seats in undergraduate and postgraduate law programmes. Admissions will be offered strictly on the basis of CLAT 2026 merit and category-wise availability of seats.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must have appeared in CLAT 2026 conducted in December 2025 and belong to the category against which they are applying. Admissions shall be granted based on CLAT All India Rank (AIR) and availability of seats in the concerned category.

How to Apply for HNLU Vacant Seats Admission 2026
HNLU has prescribed a two-step application process:
Step 1: Pay Application Fee
Candidates must first pay the non-refundable application fee of Rs. 1000 through the designated payment portal.
Step 2: Fill the Google Form
After successful payment, candidates must fill the online Google Form and upload the fee payment acknowledgement receipt along with required details before submission.
Important Instructions for Candidates
HNLU has issued several important instructions:
- Save the auto-generated Google response sheet received after form submission.
- Keep the confirmation email safely as proof of successful application.
- In case of technical issues, candidates must email the admission committee before the deadline.
- Complaints regarding non-inclusion in merit lists must be supported with fee receipt, response sheet, and confirmation email.

Why Students Should Apply
Candidates who missed admission during regular CLAT counselling still have an opportunity to secure a seat through HNLU’s vacant seat admission process. Since admissions are strictly merit-based and limited seats remain, eligible candidates should complete the application process at the earliest. Vacant seat admissions in NLUs are conducted independently after CLAT counselling and usually require separate applications to each university.
