CRY is inviting applications for a 4-week remote internship focused on child rights awareness, fundraising, outreach, and social impact initiatives.
About Child Rights and You (CRY)
Child Rights and You (CRY) is one of India’s most trusted child rights organisations working towards ensuring that every child has the right to live, learn, grow, and play in a safe and dignified environment.
Founded by Rippan Kapur in 1979, CRY works to support children across socio-economic backgrounds by promoting child welfare, education, protection, healthcare, and awareness against child labour and exploitation.
About the Internship
CRY is inviting applications for its 4-Week Summer Internship Programme, offering students an opportunity to work on live social impact projects, awareness initiatives, fundraising support, and outreach activities.
The internship also provides interns with an opportunity to contribute to CRY’s “Red Card to Child Labour” campaign, while learning from mentors and gaining practical exposure to development-sector initiatives.
Duration
The internship will run for 4 weeks from 6 June 2026 to 6 July 2026.
Mode
This is a remote internship, allowing interns to contribute online with limited offline engagement.
Roles & Responsibilities
Selected interns may contribute to:
Survey Outreach
- Assisting in creating and participating in short surveys
- Supporting outreach and awareness-related engagement activities
Funding & Resource Mapping
- Assisting in identifying grants, fundraising ideas, and funding sources
- Supporting initiatives aimed at girl child education and awareness
Social Media Awareness
- Helping create and share awareness content across social media platforms
- Supporting digital engagement initiatives around child rights and awareness campaigns
Ground-Level Engagement
- Participating in light awareness activities conducted offline
- Completing limited field engagement over 2–3 days (or more, if preferred)
Selected interns will receive detailed guidance during an orientation programme after shortlisting.
