The Columbia Journal of Transnational Law is inviting contributions from practitioners and professors from both U.S. and international backgrounds for Volume 65.
The Journal publishes work addressing contemporary issues in transnational and international law.
About the Opportunity
The Journal is accepting short-form submissions for the launch of its Online Edition. Submissions should engage with recent developments in U.S., comparative, private international, or public international law.
Contributors may submit pieces addressing one of the following:
- A commentary on a recent U.S. case with international or transnational legal implications.
- A comparison of recent cases from different countries touching upon the same topic.
- A commentary on an international legal development in either private or public international law.
Submission Requirements
Submissions should be between five and ten pages and single-spaced.
Eligibility Criteria
- Legal practitioners are eligible to submit.
- Professors are eligible to submit.
- The Journal welcomes contributions from both U.S. and international practitioners and professors.
Deadline
The deadline for submissions is October 4, 2026, at midnight EST.
