About the Opportunity
Clove Legal is looking for Associates who can assist with litigation and dispute resolution matters before various courts and tribunals. The position involves a combination of drafting, legal research, court work and assistance in complex litigation matters.
Position
The firm is hiring for the position of Associate (Multiple Vacancies) in the Dispute Resolution practice.
Experience
The opportunity is open to candidates with 0–2 years of post-qualification experience (PQE).
Eligibility
Candidates should have:
- A valid licence to practise law.
- Strong knowledge of civil and commercial laws, contract law, corporate laws, real estate laws, employment laws and other laws relevant to disputes.
- Good understanding of civil and commercial litigation and dispute resolution processes.
- Ability to analyse complex legal and factual issues and identify relevant legal principles.
- Excellent written and spoken language skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Client-service experience.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple and competing deadlines.
- Good command of Marathi.
Roles & Responsibilities
Litigation and Court Work
The selected Associates will be involved in drafting and filing legal cases before various forums, including:
- High Courts
- District Courts
- Sessions Courts
- Magistrate Courts
- NCLT
- Real Estate Regulatory Authorities
- Debt Recovery Tribunals
- Other relevant courts and tribunals
Litigation Support
Associates will assist seniors and colleagues and brief counsel in complex litigation matters.
Independent Handling of Matters
The role also involves independently handling and appearing in assigned matters.
Legal Research
Associates will be required to review legal documents and conduct research on complex legal propositions relevant to ongoing disputes.
