About the Internship
Civis is seeking interns interested in public policy, governance, research, and participatory lawmaking. The internship is designed for individuals who wish to contribute to policy communication, public consultation processes, and citizen engagement initiatives.
Selected interns will work on policy research, legislative analysis, content development, and outreach activities while gaining first-hand exposure to the policy-making ecosystem.
Duration
The internship will run for a minimum period of 12 weeks, commencing between July and August 2026.

This is a remote internship.
Stipend
A stipend will be provided.

Roles & Responsibilities
Policy Research
- Research public consultations and policy developments.
- Analyse draft laws, regulations, and public policy proposals.
Legislative Communication
- Simplify draft laws and policy documents for public understanding.
- Prepare policy analyses and explanatory content.
Public Consultation Support
- Assist in citizen engagement and public consultation initiatives.
- Support activities aimed at increasing public participation in policymaking.
Outreach & Engagement
- Assist with regional language outreach programmes.
- Support awareness and communication initiatives related to policy developments.
