About Chitkara University Publications

Chitkara University Publications, together with the Centre for Research Impact and Outcome (CRIO), Chitkara University, Punjab, is organising the competition. Its academic journals cover education, pharmaceutical research, healthcare and technology management. Selected manuscripts will be considered for the publisher’s Academic Journals Series following peer review and editorial evaluation.

About the Competition

The 2nd International Article Writing Competition 2026–2027 invites original research on current developments, innovative methods and interdisciplinary questions. Conducted online, it enables participation from India and abroad. The initiative seeks to encourage scholarly writing, research collaboration and exchange between academia and industry.

Participating Journals and Themes

• Journal of Issues and Ideas in Education (IIE): pedagogy, educational psychology, assessment, e-learning, educational leadership, counselling, special education and educational reforms.
• Journal of Pharmaceutical Technology, Research and Management (JPTRM): pharmaceutics, pharmacology, clinical research, pharmaceutical biotechnology, nanotechnology, regulatory affairs, quality assurance, intellectual property rights and related management.
• Journal of Technology Management for Growing Economies (JTMGE): innovation management, entrepreneurship, digital transformation, sustainability, Industry 4.0, fintech, strategic management and technology policy.
• Journal of Multidisciplinary Research in Healthcare (JMRH): preventive, promotive, diagnostic, therapeutic, rehabilitative and palliative healthcare research.

Eligibility Criteria

• Postgraduate students, PhD scholars and post-doctoral researchers.
• Faculty members and academicians.
• Industry professionals and practitioners.

Submission Guidelines

• Prepare an original, unpublished English manuscript of 3,500–7,000 words. It must not be under consideration elsewhere.
• Align the article with the selected journal’s aims and scope, and follow that journal’s formatting and author guidelines.
• Submissions should demonstrate methodological rigour, analytical depth and substantive findings.
• All entries undergo structured peer review. Changes to authorship are not permitted after acceptance.
• Accepted manuscripts are to be published in the respective journal under its publication agreement.

Registration Fees

There is no registration or submission fee.

Judging Criteria

Entries will be assessed for originality, research novelty, depth of analysis, methodological rigour, relevance to the journal’s scope, clarity and structure of writing, and practical or scholarly impact.

Awards and Recognition

Each journal category offers the following awards:

• First prize: ₹15,000 for Indian authors or USD 200 for international authors.
• Second prize: ₹10,000 for Indian authors or USD 150 for international authors.
• Third prize: ₹5,000 for Indian authors or USD 100 for international authors.

Authors of accepted manuscripts will receive e-certificates. Winning articles will receive recognition through the organiser’s official communications and academic networks.

Important Dates

• Call for papers: June 1–November 26, 2026.
• Review and acceptance notifications: November 27–December 26, 2026.
• Final evaluation by the judging panel: January 10, 2027.
• Award distribution event: January 29, 2027.

Application Procedure

Submit the manuscript through the appropriate journal’s official portal before completing the competition registration form. Use the generated manuscript ID in the form. Only one author needs to register a manuscript; the other co-authors should not complete separate forms for the same entry.

Submit by November 26, 2026. Shortlisted authors will be contacted directly about awards, certificates and further formalities.
